Following on from our photo video we are excited to share some interviews that our young people completed with each other during our summer trip to Ingleborough Hall in the Yorkshire Dales.
During the film, you will hear directly from the young people about what they got up to during the trip and how much they enjoyed it.
You’ll hear about how young people challenged themselves during outdoor activities, made new friends and experienced this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
“This was the first time I climbed a mountain in my life”
“Everything on this trip was new for me, it’s like the best trip I have ever had”
Our Summer Trip brought together young ESOL students from London and the North-East of England.
The trip was a huge success. It was great to see the two groups from not only different regions of the UK, but different home countries, come together and share the opportunity. During the trip, the groups immediately clicked and were supportive of one another during team-building activities and the physical challenges. The impact trips like this have on young people is immeasurable. It has hugely improved their confidence, in themselves and others and I am glad the whole group have rounded up their projects with newfound friends and positive experiences. – London Project officer, Chloe
